Yes. Blackwood Advisory Group operates under a NSW Master Licence, and every investigator who works on a matter is individually licensed. We also hold professional indemnity insurance and maintain current Working with Children Checks. If you would like to sight our licence details before engaging us, simply ask.

We operate from Armidale in the New England region and work regularly across northern and north-western NSW — from the Queensland border to the Hunter, and west across the plains. That covers the New England and North West, Tamworth and the Liverpool Plains, western NSW out to Bourke and Broken Hill, and the Queensland border districts. For matters beyond that area we maintain trusted associates interstate and can coordinate enquiries nationally.

Every matter is handled quietly and professionally. Your enquiry, your identity and the outcome of our work are never disclosed to anyone but you. Enquiries are received directly by a licensed investigator rather than a call centre, and the work itself is carried out without alerting the subject of the enquiry.

Findings are documented to an evidentiary standard — a clear written report, verified sources, and supporting material prepared so it can be relied upon in legal proceedings. Where a matter is heading to court or tribunal, tell us at the outset so the reporting is built to suit from the first day of work.

Scope, timeframe and a fixed or staged fee are agreed during your confidential consultation, before any work begins. Costs vary with the nature of the matter, so we would rather discuss what you actually need than quote a figure that does not reflect it. You will not receive an invoice for work you did not agree to.
